Representative Morelle Capitol Tours FAQs
When will I hear back?
Tours of the White House and Capitol Grounds are in high demand, and unfortunately, a tour request does not guarantee you a spot. Tour confirmations are sent approximately 2-3 weeks in advance of the requested dates.
How to travel?
Due to limited parking, we encourage the use of public transportation. The closest metro station is Capitol South, approximately one block away from the Longworth House Office Building Independence Ave Entrance. Please see the map of the Capitol grounds and the D.C. Metro Rail for more detail.
What to bring?
When visiting the Capitol, make sure to bring your reservation confirmation number (on your phone works well), good walking shoes, and cameras are encouraged! Please check the prohibited items list before arriving.
Covid Requirements?
Individuals may wear a mask during their visit if desired as an optional item during “green” Covid 19 CDC Community Level conditions. Mask wear (KN95 or N95) is required during “orange” level conditions.
Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination is not required
Is the Capitol ADA Compliant?
The Capitol Tour route is fully ADA compliant. If you have any special accommodations or requests, please reach out to us promptly after reaching your tour confirmation number so we can process your request in a timely manner.
