Community Project Funding Requests 

The Community Project Funding program offers local entities a new opportunity to work directly with their member of Congress to bring awareness to local priorities that are deserving of federal funding and partnership.  This program has been designed to utilize the best parts of the past “earmark” process by directly connecting Congressional action with outputs in the community, but with stronger guardrails to ensure accountability, transparency, and strong community support. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for our community to identify and advance priorities worthy of funding consideration.

Like many of you, I’m deeply frustrated that congressional Republicans excluded all FY25 community project funding from the recent continuing resolution. This decision has severely disrupted our ability to accept new applications for FY26. I know how urgent these needs are, and I’m committed to holding leadership accountable and delivering the funding our community deserves.
