Project Request: The existing stadium scoreboard, installed in 2003, has exceeded its useful life and no longer meets the operational, technological, or spectator expectations of a modern venue. The stadium is owned and operated by the City of Rochester Department of Recreation and Human Services and serves as a vital public asset supporting professional athletics, Section V interscholastic competition, and year-round community events.

County of Monroe: Iola Utilities Relocation and Redevelopment Project

Request Amount: $6,500,000

Project Request: A significant barrier to reinvestment and redevelopment within the former Iola Campus and surrounding CityGate district in Rochester, New York is deteriorating legacy utility infrastructure. The Iola Utilities Relocation Project will address this constraint by constructing a new underground utility pathway to deliver steam and condensate services from the Iola Campus boiler plant to the surrounding redevelopment area.

Account/Program: Health and Human Services - Health Resources and Services Administration—HRSA-Wide Activities and Program Support

Project Request: Renovations will ensure the consistency of the care environment, improving transitions, reducing behavioral escalation, and enhancing quality of life for residents.

Monroe County Sheriff’s Office: Drone as a First Responder Project

Account/Program: DOJ / COPS Technology & Equipment

Project Request: Current operations include semi autonomous drones piloted remotely from the center, commonly called “Drone as a First Responder (DFR), providing live high definition video, thermal imaging, and mapping data to speed decision-making and increase responder safety.  Expanding the existing DFR model will further enhance patrol effectiveness and support emergency agencies across all disciplines.

Oak Orchard Community Health Center, Inc.: Brockport Behavioral Health and Medical Services Expansion

Project Request: The purpose of this project is to expand and reconfigure our Brockport office to strengthen integration between Behavioral Health and medical services. Currently, Behavioral Health providers are dispersed throughout the building, creating communication and coordination challenges. Consolidating these teams will enhance collaboration, support wholeperson care, and increase capacity to meet the growing demand for Behavioral Health services in Brockport and surrounding communities.

Rochester Genesee Regional Transit Authority: Blind Spot Monitoring System

Account/Program: DOT/Transit Infrastructure Grants

Request Amount: $1,000,000

Project Request: RGRTA requests funding to deploy a Blind Spot Monitoring System. 40-foot and 60-foot buses have significant blind spots as a result of the placement of the A-pillar in the design of the vehicles that can obstruct the view of other roadway users. Bus blind spots pose a significant risk to the safety of drivers and vulnerable road users (VRUs), including pedestrians, cyclists, and wheelchair users.

Town of Greece: Snowplow Truck Fleet Replacement Vehicles

Project Request: The goal of this project is to update six of fourteen heavy duty vehicles ranging in age from 19 to 25 years old. These vehicles are used for both summer and winter maintenance and play a large part in keeping the public safe on our local road network.

Town of Henrietta: Dome Arena Community Center

Project Request: This project proposes to acquire, restore, and preserve the historic Dome Arena in Henrietta and convert the Minett Hall portion to a Community Center including offices, meeting rooms, and event rooms for community groups as well as additional recreation space. The Dome Arena proper would be used for community-wide events, concerts, trade-shows, and the like as well as emergency response uses such as a Point of Distribution, warming center, and emergency assembly point.

Project Request: A comprehensive accessibility improvement project at Potter Park centered on upgrades to the Lion’s Den Building and surrounding park amenities. The Lion’s Den is a multi-purpose community facility that hosts a variety of programs including summer camp, teen and senior activities, individuals with disabilities, and community events. As a highly utilized space, improvements are needed to ensure the facility meets modern accessibility standards and remains safe and welcoming for all users.

Project Request: The University of Rochester seeks support for the replacement of key instrumentation vital to the Center for Advanced Brain Imaging and Neurophysiology (UR CABIN), a multimodal imaging research center where technological innovation aids basic, translational, and clinical scientists in their exploration of the brain. The facility enables broad scientific discovery from basic research to clinical neuroscience, fosters cross-disciplinary collaboration, and is utilized by hundreds of investigators from the School of Medicine and Dentistry, School of Nursing, College of Arts & Sciences, and Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences, as well as other academic institutions

Project Request: The Village of Honeoye Falls is undertaking critical upgrades to its Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) at 100 Ulrich Lane to replace aging infrastructure, improve treatment performance, and protect regional water quality while preparing for significant housing growth.
