CONGRESSMAN JOE MORELLE HONORS LOCAL MEMBERS OF JEWISH COMMUNITY DURING JEWISH AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH
Recognizes local leaders whose service and dedication have strengthened Rochester’s Jewish community
(Rochester, N.Y.)—Today, Congressman Joe Morelle partnered with leaders from Rochester’s Jewish community to celebrate Jewish American Heritage Month and recognize local individuals whose leadership, service, and commitment to others have made a lasting impact on the Rochester community.
“Jewish American Heritage Month is an opportunity to recognize the individuals who help sustain and strengthen Jewish life here in Rochester through service, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to community,” said Congressman Joe Morelle. “At a time when rising antisemitism is leaving many families feeling fearful and uncertain, it’s more important than ever to celebrate the people who continue showing up for others, preserving traditions, and strengthening the institutions that bring communities together. Today’s honorees reflect the very best of Rochester, and I’m proud to recognize their extraordinary contributions.”
Congressman Morelle presented each honoree with an official statement submitted to the Congressional Record recognizing their achievements and contributions to Rochester and Jewish communal life across the region.
