(Washington, D.C.) – Today, Congressman Joe Morelle highlighted government data that shows 14,367 of New York's federal employees are currently facing the uncertainty and fear that comes with not receiving a paycheck. Nearly 800,000 federal employees are currently not receiving a paycheck during the President's shutdown, including both "essential" employees going to work every day without pay, as well as employees furloughed without pay.
