Funds will help expand affordable housing opportunities across Monroe County

(Washington, D.C.) — Today, Congressman Joe Morelle announced over $3.2 million in grant funding from the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York (FHLBNY) has been made available to expand affordable housing initiatives in the Rochester community. These grants will provide both direct investment in existing housing initiatives as well as provide conduits for further community development in the areas surrounding these initiatives.

Legislation will serve as an important step towards ensuring community safety

(Washington, D.C.) — Today, Congressman Joe Morelle announced the introduction of legislation to ensure the delivery of free at-home COVID-19 test kits for all Americans. The Free At-Home Tests For All Act would instruct the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to purchase COVID-19 rapid test kits and distribute two per week to every resident of the United States free of charge.
