(Rochester, NY) – Today, Congressman Joe Morelle took action to strengthen voting rights and combat voter discrimination by passing H.R. 4, The John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. The legislation, which Rep. Morelle co-sponsors, restores the full protections of the original Voting Rights Act of 1965 and includes updates that respond to the unique challenges of today's voting process.

(Rochester, NY) – Today, Congressman Joe Morelle announced that he helped secure the inclusion of nearly $100,000 in the House of Representatives' recently-passed appropriations bill for the Boys & Girls Club of Rochester. This funding would be used to enhance after-school and career-ready services, including youth mental health services to better support young people through the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

(Washington, DC) – Today, Congressman Joe Morelle took action to support Afghan allies and their families who risked their lives as translators and navigators to aid United States military personnel. The ALLIES Act, H.R. 3985, would expedite the Afghan Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) process and help more families safely travel to the U.S. Rep. Morelle is a co-sponsor of the legislation.
